1. CUTTING PROCESS

The stone, once that it has been extracted from the mine, it goes to the cutting process, which consist in cutting with a diamond disc according to the figure or model that we are going to produce in our factory. For example if we are going to manufacture a figure of 7 cm, we will have to cut 7 cm blocks and according to the size of the figure.

Depending on our order, we can cut blocks from 2 cm to blocks of 30 cm. Using larger diamond disc.

In this process, we are going to select the blocks that have the right characteristics in material and color quality, this is the first filter of the manufacturing process.

2. TURNING PROCESS

Once that the stone has been cut in blocks, this passes to the turning process.

We begin to draw with a plastic template on the block to execute the contour of the animal that we are going to manufacture. Then the artisan cut the contour of the figure and subsequently make the complete design, using for this a motor of one horse power and a carbono fiber disc.

This process is very important and the artisan must have a wide experience to make a very good elaborated design.

3. CARVING PROCESS

The carving process is to define with a smaller disc and using a smaller motor, all the parts where it was not possible to define in the previous process, for example, they can be the ears, legs, mouth, etc., of the animal that we are manufacturing.

In this process, we also make the thin lines that will define the own characteristics of the figure.

In this part, the craftsman provides his skills and experience and therefore reach a product with a great quality.

4. SANDING AND ROOFING PROCESS

In this process we are going to sand the figure for which we are going to use a bit of sandpaper n° 180 and n° 220 and complete the sanding procedure, having special care in the fragile parts of the figure, such as legs, ears, tail, etc.

Once the sanded is completed we begin roughing the figure where the respective eyes are located, being ready for the final phase.

5. EYE PLACEMENT, LACQUERING AND PACKAGING PROCESS

The figures are ready for the final procedure.  Placing their respective eyes and put their respective lacquered, using the best lacquer in the market that guarantees us a good finish and brightness.

After lacquering the figure we let it dry 24 hours approximately and we are able for the packaging process, having special care with the packaging to guarantee that the product arrives without any type of damage to its final destination in the export process.
